20th Century Studios has dropped the second trailer for Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, offering a gripping look into the stripped-down soul of a rock legend. Directed and written by Scott Cooper, the film chronicles the transformative period in Bruce Springsteen’s life during the early 1980s, when fame was knocking—but the ghosts of his past refused to be silenced.
Based on the acclaimed book of the same name, the biopic stars Jeremy Allen White as a young Bruce Springsteen—just before Born in the USA turned him into a global icon. But this story doesn’t ride the high of stadium tours or screaming fans. Instead, it zooms in on a quieter moment: the creation of Nebraska, a hauntingly bare, acoustic album recorded alone on a 4-track tape recorder in his New Jersey bedroom.
The trailer promises grit over glamour, intimacy over idol worship. With a tone reminiscent of Springsteen’s own lyrics—moody, introspective, and razor-sharp—the film explores the pressure of success, personal demons, and the raw creative process behind one of his most iconic (and unlikely) records.
Joining White in the cast are Stephen Graham, Odessa Young, Gaby Hoffmann, Marc Maron, and David Krumholtz, rounding out a cast as emotionally potent as the subject matter itself.
Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere is scheduled to hit theatres on October 24, 2025, and is already generating buzz as a potential awards contender. Much like the Nebraska album it honors, the film looks ready to make a quiet, lasting impact.
